Peel Trauma Screening Training
This course has 3 modules. Module 1 focuses on trauma and the social determinants of health as it relates to trauma. Module 2 focuses on the trauma screening tool and how to use the tool. Module 3 is about trauma stewardship and mindfulness self-care

Module 1: Trauma & Social Determinants of Health (SDH)
This module focuses on the social environment within which people experience and respond to trauma. It points to the connection between oppression on the one hand and inequity and trauma on the other.

Module 2: Trauma Screening – The Tool & Response
Training participants are taught how to use a particular trauma screening tool, how to personally manage the process of client disclosure, and how to make appropriate referrals based on the findings from trauma screening.
